The visual merging of “not having to do anything” and “not wanting to do anything.”
Recline a chair, find a sufficiently deep and stable spot in the water, have a good time, breathe.
“Den lieben Gott einen guten Mann sein lassen.” comes to my mind. A very old, actually no longer commonly used, Austrian saying from the past. Times that likely were much rougher and certainly more faith-oriented. Word for word it translates to “To let the dear Lord be a good man”. In a figurative sense, it means to just let things take their course. At least for a while. To let go of things and worries. Especially those that are beyond one’s control. To (try) to be calm. To lean back. To enjoy life.
And to simply trust that everything will be okay.
